Happy Birthday to Seekthebestblog!

We made it a whole year y’all and it’s been a blast!

Friends, I can’t tell you how much it means to me to be here to celebrate my blog’s first birthday with YOU!

My goal was to share some of the best things that life has to offer.

I pray that I’ve done that for these past 365 or so days!

I’d like to thank all of the many followers and viewers who have stopped by to share a laugh, a tear, a bite to eat and everything else in between with Me, Ron and my Dad (when he decides to pop up.)

As for me, frankly, I never imagined that I’d make it this far blogging.

You see, I’ve always fancied myself as a storyteller, writer, photographer, and soul food/music maven.

That’s fine, but it was all in my head and in my personal journals and my files and under my bed and so on…

But now, thanks to this blog, it’s all in your head!

LOL!!!

No, seriously, thank you for digging our stuff and for sharing yours!

Oh, and by the way, Lady G is also celebrating a birthday this week!

I’m a few steps shy of a half century and I am very thankful for it!

So…

Let’s toast it up!

Yes, I just bit Ne-yo’s song “Champagne Life ! ”

  7. Ah! I love to see you living in colour, a beautiful picture Gwin. I’m a bit late for the party but not too late I hope to wish you and your blog a happy birthday. In my family there are lots of birthdays in February and Miss Alex’s birthday was in December. The problem with these dates is that they can get confused with the festivities instead of you being able to really celebrate your special day. Now you’ll know by now that Miss Chevvy likes to be different so I’d like to recognise your special day the best way I know how. Here are two gifts for you. Happy birthday Love! 🎈🎈💫💫✨✨💞💞

    And spotted me amidst the milky way from afar
    Soul to soul chemistry, that’s just how things are

    When you reach out and touch what you can’t see
    You know that this was always destined to be
    That you’d touch each other’s lives and hold a key

    Unlocking memories, the mysteries of our dreams
    Because we know that it’s not always as it seems
    We are to each other as the river to the streams

    So here I stand raising my glass and saying cheers
    Wishing you many blossoms and harvesting years
    And if you cry today, let them be with joyful tears

    Well seeing as it’s your blog birthday – Happy Blog Birthday, Lady G. I hope you live to see many more blog birthdays!
    Happy Birthday for whichever day it is this week (lol) and it’s a milestone birthday, so even more congratulations. Hey girl you look about 18!!!!! 🙂
    My own blog birthday was October 13, a few days before my own! :)) Funny that, how we almost mirror each other, just different months.
