Uh Oh…We Got A Problem…

Breakfast comparison
Today’s Breakfast (L) compared to yesterday’s breakfast (R)

Yes folks!  We got a PROBLEM.

You see, the button on my pants has distanced itself from the button-hole!

Methinks the lady doth partake in too much ‘real good food!’

And now…

She looking all pitiful ’cause her clothes is too tight 🙂

What to do?  What to do?

Should we go:

Low calorie?

Low fat?

Low carb?

Many mini meals?

One meal?

Eat like a king for breakfast, a prince for lunch and a pauper for dinner?

Good grief!

This is such a first world problem to have.

But it is a problem nonetheless.

So what do you all do when your pants start struggling?

#Monday Motivation?

***Stay tuned for the ‘Real Good Food’ series. 😂

  1. You are real good with the food presentation!

And lol @ looking pitiful in tight clothes. It was cold for a while, (at least up here) so gaining weight is kind of expected. I have put on a few pounds because its too cold to be going to the gym in this mess. I tried using a calorie tracker on my phone that monitors all the food you eat … it is a good tool to help you stay disciplined. It is good. Maybe you can try it out? =D You’ll get back to where you was in a few weeks or so!

  2. I’m eating more fruits and veggies, drinking a lot more water. I’m not eating beef or chicken anymore. Idk if it’s working but my clothes fit. Lol. I’d like to drop a size though. I’m going to start going to the gym more too.

    1. Hey Lisa:
Yes, I’ve been sticking with seafood, chicken and vegetables too.
Hey, your plan must be working for you since your clothes fit 🙂
As for me, I can already tell a difference just by cutting back on carbs.
Oh yeah and I HATE the gym 😦

The joke is eat seafood! Except it goes that I see food, and I eat it.
I see you have a lot of good suggestions, some that I myself should take up. Though I am getting some information on what I should do with my diet from a registered nurse through my health insurance. We’ll see what I can and can’t do with that.

    Good luck!

  4. Okay, so when you find the answer to this, please do share as I struggle all the time. The more and the further I run, the more weight I gain, I kid you not. I think it’s time to lift weights to build lean muscle and metabolize food better (and I should probably lay off the donuts too, lol). Good luck, super interested in hearing about your success!!

  5. I give myself a pass for enjoying life…then a few weeks later I panic…hit the trails, eat tons of healthy carbs like veggies, fruit, legumes, and whole grains. Drink lots of water. Hit repeat, and do it all over again. 🙂 Off to test taste my calorie rich bread pudding for tomorrows blog 😉

  6. get out and start walking like a mad woman, cut the carbs, lots of water, and more salads, w/minimal cheese and no cream dressings….sigh….or perhaps it’s going around, think I should take my own advice that just burped up out of my pie hole….pie? did someone say pie???? ❤

I don’t see the problem! Eat healthy, cut back on the sugar and products made with sugar, no starving, no diet. More water, more water, more water and exercise. Get to your happy your way, Ms. Fabolous! #yougotitgoingon

  8. I have the mini meals, or just do portion control. My will power doesn’t always agree with me, but the weigh does seem to stay off me for a longer period. [oops, and drink plenty of water!]

    1. Thanks for the great advice GP.
I think I’ll incorporate a bit of each of the suggestions that I’ve gotten in comments. And I get the will power thing; it doesn’t stand a chance when faced with sweet thingys 🙂

  9. Eat what you want and buy some bigger clothes. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a more serious note: step away from ‘low fat’. Low fat food is packed with sugar to make it taste better. They don’t tell you that!
And I’m on the eat like a king at breakfast etc etc – lost a few pounds, so it’s working for me.
You’re not pregnant are you??!!! LOL

    1. ROTFLMAO!!!! I can assure you that I am not pregnant. If I am then they need to change my name to MARY!
I think your plan works well too. I’ve just been used to the whole big supper thing.
      #buybiggerclothes YAAAASSSSS!

        1. I know Lady G. You know I like to pull your leg all the time!!!!!!! I always come here for a good laugh. I love my food, but I quite like the clothes in my wardrobe too! So it’s give and take on that score. Cheaper to eat less than to buy new clothes!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

    1. Wow! Thanks for that advice. My son, who is a personal trainer (he’s away in college), swears by carbs early but never late. I was thinking about stopping all eating before 6:30pm but I think 8pm sounds more feasible! Thanks again for the advice 🙂
