We met in starry Winter.
Spring-Summer
Had a ball!
The chime rings twelve,
Her time had come to
Leave me in the Fall.
-Lady G For MamašĀ RIP
I really wish you guys could have āmetā my Mom! Ā
She was truly something else! Ā
By the way, down South, we often describe certain people as being āsomething elseā when we canāt quite find the best words to describe them. Ā
Mind you, this could be either good or bad š
In Mamaās case it was a good thing!
And soā¦
Here, in the Northern Hemisphere, we celebrate the first day of fall!
Itās my favorite time of year!
Last year, I decided to greet the Autumnal Equinox with this popular post! Ā
Feel free to check it out!
Meanwhile, I will leave you to celebrate our dear season with the following musical goodies!
The first song was one of Mamaās favorites by Marvin Gaye.Ā We’d sing it together while dancing and having a ball!
The second song isā¦.What can I say? Apropos!
Love and light to you all!

Beautiful memories my mom left me and the spring 1996. My dad joined her in 97. I had to learn how to live all over again without them. Today I am stronger than ever because they are a part of me forever.

Lady G,
I know your mother was a special woman. She had to be… to have raised such an amazing daughter like you. Sending lots of love your way.

How blessed you were to have had those ‘seasons’ with your dear Mama. And how blessed we are that you are here to season our lives with your wit, humour and charm – I daresay Mama had plenty of that, as they say: the apple never falls far from the tree! š
