New for 2019

What are we doing if we aren’t growing?

No, seriously, I really would like an answer.

I mean, we were meant to express ourselves by growing and expanding, right?

In my mind, staying stagnant is tantamount to The Beatles’ description of a “real nowhere man sitting in his nowhere land.”

How sad is that?

Frankly, I don’t think that anyone desires to remain exactly the same as she/he has always been.

Everybody has something that they aspire to; even if they have no idea how to get to that something.

And so…

With that said, I have spent the past few years thinking about all of the things that I would like to have, do and be.

I asked myself, “To what do I aspire?”

Believe it or not, starting a blog was one of those things…so we can go ahead and add that to my imaginary score sheet!

Uh…well…I’ve also wanted to engage in more collaborative efforts with other bloggers/creatives, and I am happy to report that I am currently doing that!

On a more personal note, I’ve changed my diet and lost a pretty significant amount of weight….but if I told you how much I’d have to kill you and then who would be left to read my blog, appreciate my collaborations or look at all of my “skinny” pictures?

LOL!!!

Needless to say, there is so much more that I am doing and that I want to do.

For instance, right now, my son and I are in the process of starting a business.

And, despite what you might think, I am not insane…

Nor am I, as Lady J has said, “doing the MOST!”

LOL!

NO!

I’m simply doing what?

Let’s say it together:  “Growing and Expanding!”

YAAASSSS!

Now…

As you all know, I have created other means to pursue and express my spiritual interests.  Part of that now includes posting videos on Youtube.

And, in the interest of growth, I have stretched myself by appearing in front of the camera and by doing all of the video editing.

Hell, I even created a little musical ditty in Garage band to act as a theme song of sorts!

Y’all I have to laugh at myself sometimes!

I simply can’t take myself too seriously.

  1. Lady G, this is amazing! Congratulations on all of your accomplishments, truly. I know how much is involved in losing weight and it’s not for the feint of heart.
