Back Together Again! Ron Brown and LadyG

Greetings!

I just wanted to step back on the blog after a long hiatus to check in with you guys!

I have truly missed you all, and I want you to know that you were never far away from my heart.

So, let’s talk about the title of this post…

Today marks an exciting new beginning!  To be specific, my dear cousin Ron and I are planning to do several collaborative projects that will involve writing, shooting videos and possibly podcasting.

Many of you will remember our collaborations during the early days of this blog.  In fact, Ron is featured here under the category “Ron’s Time Tunnel.”

He is also heavily featured, along with your’s truly, under the “Flowering Vine” category where we detail our Southern roots; not to mention the complexities of race.

For those of you who do not know, Ron and I are first cousins.  His mother and my father are siblings.  And, frankly, the “Flowering Vine” is a great place to start for folks who are interested in getting to know our family.

But, I digress….

Just know that Ron, a veteran of The United States Air Force, is a magnificent writer and storyteller who has his own blog.

In addition to the writing that he does there, he recently completed his Master’s degree.

YAAAAY and congratulations!

Suffice it to say, Cuz has been BUSY!!!!

Anyway, today, I am so happy to present a video of Ron speaking at his church during a Friends and Family Celebration for Black History Month.

Now, before we proceed, I must inform you that the video was recorded on a cell phone and it is a bit grainy…Not to mention the fact that I had to crop out a couple of beautiful church hats!

LOL!

Hey!  Speaking of church hats, Ron wrote about those magnificent adornments in this post.

Moving on!

Despite the technical constraints, I’d like to take time to thank my cousin, Aleshia, Ron’s sister, for recording the festivities.

NOW…

Here’s the video and I hope you enjoy it!

Please feel free to comment.

Love and light, LadyG 😘💋💋

Solstice Reading 2019

Welcome,

I am Lady G, aka The Alluring Intuitive, and I am glad that you dropped by my spot for a message 🙂

Just so you know, my readings are not meant to be predictive but they do typically offer confirmation.

That said, they may or may not resonate with you.

I am often told by followers that my reading applied when they saw it (or later)…not on the date it was posted!

It is also important to note that I am an intuitive reader so these same cards could easily be interpreted quite differently by a traditional tarot card reader.

And so…

Let us commence with today’s Summer Solstice message for 2019:

As you know, my loves, we are always planting seeds.  Some we know about on a conscious level and some we plant on a subconscious level.

Today’s reading is about the seeds that some of us have…

Video: Easter Morning Walk in Nature

If you follow this blog, you probably already know how much LadyG LOVES being in nature.

Best believe, I never get bored with a beautiful sunrise, a stately tree, or twittering from the feathered ones.

So…

Today, I decided to capture some video of a walk that I took a bit earlier this fine Easter Sunday morning.

No doubt thoughts of resurrection and rebirth swirled all around my mind and heart.

It’s a perfect day to ponder such things…don’t you think?

Anyway, the video is quite short, but it has a meditative quality.

At least to me it does 🙂

The whole thing is less than 5 minutes long and packed full of trees, sky, sun and tweeting birds.

OH! If you beleive that orbs are actually spirits or angelic beings, then look closely because I caught sight of an orb in one of the clips.

I meant to mark it but I forgot!

And so…

Take a look-see and let me know what you think!

BTW, this was shot on my iphone7 plus.

Enjoy!

I am the curve and he is the line.

My brother and I are different, but there is more than enough room in this world for him, me and YOU!

Here is part two of the interview with my brother Tack.

In this video, we discuss lessons from our Daddy, humor and what it was like for him to grow up with LadyG as an older sister.

Enjoy…

New for 2019

What are we doing if we aren’t growing?

No, seriously, I really would like an answer.

I mean, we were meant to express ourselves by growing and expanding, right?

In my mind, staying stagnant is tantamount to The Beatles’ description of a “real nowhere man sitting in his nowhere land.”

How sad is that?

Frankly, I don’t think that anyone desires to remain exactly the same as she/he has always been.

Everybody has something that they aspire to; even if they have no idea how to get to that something.

And so…

With that said, I have spent the past few years thinking about all of the things that I would like to have, do and be.

I asked myself, “To what do I aspire?”

Believe it or not, starting a blog was one of those things…so we can go ahead and add that to my imaginary score sheet!

One for LadyG!

NEXT!

Uh…well…I’ve also wanted to engage in more collaborative efforts with other bloggers/creatives, and I am happy to report that I am currently doing that!

On a more personal note, I’ve changed my diet and lost a pretty significant amount of weight….but if I told you how much I’d have to kill you and then who would be left to read my blog, appreciate my collaborations or look at all of my “skinny” pictures?

LOL!!!

Needless to say, there is so much more that I am doing and that I want to do.

For instance, right now, my son and I are in the process of starting a business.

And, despite what you might think, I am not insane…

Nor am I, as Lady J has said, “doing the MOST!”

LOL!

NO!

I’m simply doing what?

Let’s say it together:  “Growing and Expanding!”

YAAASSSS!

Now…

As you all know, I have created other means to pursue and express my spiritual interests.  Part of that now includes posting videos on Youtube.

And, in the interest of growth, I have stretched myself by appearing in front of the camera and by doing all of the video editing.

Hell, I even created a little musical ditty in Garage band to act as a theme song of sorts!

Y’all I have to laugh at myself sometimes!

I simply can’t take myself too seriously.

Anyway, take a look at this video of me pulling an affirmation card!

Written, performed, directed and produced by LadyG!

LOL!!!

Growing and Expanding!

How are you growing and expanding?

Drop down and comments and let me know!
