(Excuse any typos, we’re in the thick of it!)

So, now that we have settled on the fact that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, it seems most appropriate to share some scenes from my 2018 Halloween shenanigans.

Now…

Let’s start with a bit of charity.

Earlier today, I spent this afternoon giving candy to kids at the local children’s hospital.  It really was very humbling—it reminded me to appreciate the health and wholeness of my own children.

If you ever get the opportunity to do something like that please do. Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming and the kids are always in need of good cheer.

Naturally, I could not take any pictures for privacy reasons.

And so….

After that, I came home, ordered Pizza, pulled out the six (6) carmel-nut candy apples that I got from Kroger for…..wait for it….$2.00–that’s right, I said TWO DOLLARS.

Anyway, I filled a cat-faced “cauldron” with candy for trick or treaters.

Of course, I baked some cookies; that’s a given!

Best believe, my house is a freaking mess; but we are having a ball!  BTW, my Dad is here!  He never misses Halloween at my house!

Next on the agenda was to cue up Youtube to watch an old cheesy ABC Halloween movie from 1985 called “The Midnight Hour.”  I love that movie! How many of you remember that one? if you do, please hit me up in comments because most people have never heard of it but I love it!  1985….the good old days!  Here is the link

After that, we’ll watch:
