Back Together Again! Ron Brown and LadyG

Greetings!

I just wanted to step back on the blog after a long hiatus to check in with you guys!

I have truly missed you all, and I want you to know that you were never far away from my heart.

So, let’s talk about the title of this post…

Today marks an exciting new beginning!  To be specific, my dear cousin Ron and I are planning to do several collaborative projects that will involve writing, shooting videos and possibly podcasting.

Many of you will remember our collaborations during the early days of this blog.  In fact, Ron is featured here under the category “Ron’s Time Tunnel.”

He is also heavily featured, along with your’s truly, under the “Flowering Vine” category where we detail our Southern roots; not to mention the complexities of race.

For those of you who do not know, Ron and I are first cousins.  His mother and my father are siblings.  And, frankly, the “Flowering Vine” is a great place to start for folks who are interested in getting to know our family.

But, I digress….

Just know that Ron, a veteran of The United States Air Force, is a magnificent writer and storyteller who has his own blog.

In addition to the writing that he does there, he recently completed his Master’s degree.

YAAAAY and congratulations!

Suffice it to say, Cuz has been BUSY!!!!

Anyway, today, I am so happy to present a video of Ron speaking at his church during a Friends and Family Celebration for Black History Month.

Now, before we proceed, I must inform you that the video was recorded on a cell phone and it is a bit grainy…Not to mention the fact that I had to crop out a couple of beautiful church hats!

LOL!

Hey!  Speaking of church hats, Ron wrote about those magnificent adornments in this post.

Moving on!

Despite the technical constraints, I’d like to take time to thank my cousin, Aleshia, Ron’s sister, for recording the festivities.

NOW…

Here’s the video and I hope you enjoy it!

Please feel free to comment.

Love and light, LadyG 😘💋💋
