Beautiful! Lovely Lady G, I am so so far behind in reading your posts. Bear with me please as I plow on through. Such a distressing, horrible, tragic time for POC everywhere… 😢 I am so so so sorry. 😰 I am ashamed to be a member of the same race as those beasts, those monsters. 😰😰😰 WHY?! WHY do such people exist?! If there is a God, why does he allow such “people” to be like that??!! I will never understand. I haven’t been able to get the evil Chauvin’s blank face out of my mind. That blank, stubbornly evil stare. Like saying “Bite me.” He’s an effing murderer and I hope he rots in jail for the rest of his life, his abettors too.

You know, there’s a saying that the “hottest” place in hell is reserved for people who stood by and watched evil when they could have done something about it. There’s no way, that I could have stood by as one of that devil’s co-workers and allowed that to happen.
I’m just hoping that the momentum continues and this doesn’t just become a hash tag with no teeth. Black folks are worn out and ready for change that should have happened 135 years ago.
