Would you just look at those collard greens and ‘maters!
Just look at ’em!
I don’t know about you, but fresh produce is a MUST in my life!
That said, doesn’t this inspire you to want to go plant a garden?
It inspired me!
But there’s a problem…
Lady G ain’t ’bout to go digging ’round in the Lord’s ground…
What with snakes, and worms and any manner of creeping thing that creepeth!
I simply cannot!
But….
I can see myself working with planters and raised garden beds.
And so…
My daughter, Lady J, and I have decided to recruit my Dad to teach us how to grow veggies and herbs using the aforementioned.
So let it be written, so let it be done!
The Ladies have spoken!
LOL!!!!
Oh, by the way, excuse my manners! It’s been awhile and I haven’t had time to drop by and wish you guys a happy summer!
So…
Happy Summer my loves!
I will certainly keep you posted on the progress of our garden project.
Until then…
Enjoy these pics!
Leave me a comment or just say hello!
I pray that you all have a magnificent week! Love and light to you!
Lady G 💋💋
Beautiful garden! Your daddy has the green thumb!

You Dad sure appears to have one heck of a green thumb! Are you going to plant from seed or store-bought plants? I’m looking forward to your pictures from planting to harvest!!
Have a wonderful week yourself, Lady G , oops – and Lady J.

Hi GP!
Thanks for that compliment 🙂 My Dad has always been good with gardening and taking care of animals–Those are his gifts.
Now, to answer your question, more than likely we will start with some store bought plants but I do want us to plant some seeds so that Lady J can see the entire process. I think kids these days need to be exposed to things like that.
Always good to see you 🙂 Lady J sends warm regards 🙂

yep, seeing as how I haven’t dyed my hair in over ten years…but with the big 5-0 coming in less than two weeks, I’m thinking purple streaks would be just so dang cool ❤ time will tell, besides, just got my AARP card, hubby was so happy to point it out to me (on the next day I tried to put the OJ in the juice glass cabinet instead of the fridge) yep, it's happening 🙂
